Billing: This Period vs Completed to date

Customer Billing is created in TeamPlayer as part of the process of billing your Customer upon completion of work outlined in the Contract. When filling up the billing form you have the option to choose between This Period or Completed to Date.

  1. This Period Billing:

The user needs to enter the Progress Percent or This Period Completed Amount on the current billing period only, up to the Through Date entered on the first step of the form regardless of any amounts previously submitted.

For Example:

If this is the second Billing and on the first one we billed for $11,264.83, and after that, we completed another $1,500 of work, then the amount to be entered would be $1,500, since this is the work completed in the Current period

2. Completed to Date:
The user needs to enter the Progress Percent or Dollar Amount completed overall for the Schedule of Values line, including any previous billings issued.

For Example:

If this is the second Billing and on the first one we billed for $11,264.83, and after that, we completed another $1,500 of work, then the amount to be entered as Completed to date would be $11,264.83 from the first billing period + $1,500 from the second billing period = $12,764.83
